The concept of the Ethos Roundtable is to gather all the eminent scientists from around the world to participate in a think tank where they will be paid not to work. They will be able to do whatever they wish - like playing golf, go fishing, or relaxing on the beach.

As soon as there is a challenge that needs addressing all these knights will be paged to the Round Table. As soon as they recieve the message that there is a problem in need of being solved they will no longer be paid to do nothing, but must meet at the Round Table and commence to work at solving the problem. The sooner they can solve the problem, the sooner they can get back to being paid to seek their own leisure.
